VIEWING GEOMETRY, SPATIAL RESOLUTION

TRUTHS hyperspectral imager (HIS) is a push-broom instrument, with fixed Nadir viewing. The swath is approximately of 100km and enables global coverage through a 61-day repeat cycle.

The spatial resolution of the instrument in Earth Observation mode is 50m. The radiance products are rebinned on-board at 100m over land and 200m over ocean, using a pre-configured land/sea mask.
