How to Enter
To enter the competition please complete the online application form (HERE).
1. Provide contact details and a description of your concept
Think carefully about what it is you want to do if you are selected to be an ESA visiting artist. You will be asked to include a description, giving details of the concept you would like to work on during the three-month period.
2. Upload the design draft of your artwork
If you are submitting an illustration or graphic please do so as a 300 dpi 24-bit PNG file (about 2Mb), optimised for screen viewing.
If you chose to submit a short film or animation we ask you to do so in standard definition (2Mbs – 5Mbs bitrate), allowing either MP4 or MOV files sending via wetransfer to events.organisation@esa.int.
The winner and two runners-up will be announced online, and will have the opportunity to submit a high-resolution image or a high-definition video, respectively. These will also be presented at the Living Planet Symposium in Milan next May.
If your artwork takes a different form than that of the above then please do provide us with a more detailed description of the project you had in mind, and if possible, a short sketch or video that would illustrate your artwork.
Any questions?
