Venue

The Auditorio de Tenerife is the work of the distinguished architect Santiago Calatrava, who has designed a singular building which from both a scenic, artistic and leisure viewpoint has become an obligatory attraction for visitors to Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the Canary Islands in general. This impressive auditorium has all year round activity and is used for performances of opera, theatre and dance as well as a venue for congresses, events and exhibitions.

The Auditorio de Tenerife, in the capital of the island, offers a privileged location to sit facing the ocean and enjoy the pleasant sea breeze and the peace of the view with no architectural barriers to interfere with an extensive visual field. We are close to the main town bus station and ideally located near to both motorways, facilitating vehicle access from other parts of the island and both airports.

Within its walls, you will find a beautiful Symphony Hall with capacity for 1616 people, with a stage covering 409 m2 and two mobile platforms. Then there is the smaller but equally impressive Chamber Hall with capacity for 422 people and a stage measuring 150m2. We also have a wide range of smaller rooms, available for breakout sessions, meetings or other activities. In our Main Hall you can enjoy a coffee or meal at our Cafeteria – Bistro with views of the ocean and make the most of our pleasant climate all year round.
