The workshop is organised around oral and poster presentations selected by the Scientific Committee and ESA’s organisation committee. It will be mainly an in-person meeting (expected up to 100 participants), but we will ensure capabilities for virtual participation.

The session will include time for discussion; in particular, recommendations will be gathered on the following topics:

• Adequacy of current and planned Cal/Val infrastructure and resources

• Readiness to support Cal/Val needs with sustained long-term solution

• Protocol harmonisation across networks/sites

• Product harmonisation across missions

• User needs for land products evolution

• Data quality information, accessibility, discoverability, timeliness
