Oral presentations


1. Presentations shall last 15 min (including ~15 slides max) plus 5 minutes dedicated to questions and answers.

2. Presenters shall include one slide summarizing the presenter main feed-back/suggestions with respect to S2VT#03 objectives:

  • To gather feedback and exchange on mission Level-1 and Level-2A products radiometric and geometric quality.
  • To gather feedback and exchange on the cal/val methods used operationally.
  • To collect suggestions for the establishment of a network of operational test sites for Level-2A (and higher) products validation.
  • To collect suggestions for ad-hoc Sentinel-2 products validation campaigns (in complement to the permanent network of validation sites).

3. Presenters shall include in the presentation details about:

  1. Test(s) site(s) names, location (latitude/longitude), land/atmosphere measurements performed, instrumentation and contact point.
  2. Ad-hoc validation campaigns performed (with details on measurements performed).
  3. Sentinel-2 data pick-up point (e.g. SciHub, Amazon, Google, USGS, PEPS).

Please prepare your presentations in MS PowerPoint or Adobe Acrobat format (PDF). Only these formats will be accepted.

The presentation laptop will be running Windows connected to an projector available for the presentations.

Please take into account that the meeting room is quite large, the presentations should contain clear information with appropriate font (and image) size that is legible from the back of the conference rooms.
Please bring your presentation on a USB stick (make a folder if not a single file), name it LastnameInitial.type (e.g., PresenterA.ppt) and make sure your presentation has been copied to the computer in the meeting room well before the start of your session.

Presenters are kindly requested to be present in the meeting room at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the session and to make their presence known to the chair of the session.
