Presentation Guidelines
Oral Presentations
Oral Presentation slots are of 15 minutes, inlcuding presentation (12 minutes max) and Question and Answers (3 minutes).
The following material is available for the speakers: one computer/video projector 16:9, a microphone, a lectern, and a pointing device. The software installed on the computer includes:- Windows 7
- MS Office 2016 Professional (Power Point, Word)
- Adobe Acrobat Reader
- Windows Media Player 12
The media player is only available with standard codecs. Use of standard True Type fonts is suggested for PowerPoint presentations. In the case that a ppt contains a video or animation, please ensure that both files (Power Point and video - MPG AVI) are in the same folder.
Presentations from personal laptops are not allowed, to ensure a smooth programme running and to minimise the transition time between presentations.
Presentations shall be uploaded to the computer in the session room Big Hall before session start.

Digital Posters
Digital posters (in the form of power point presentations, interactive presentations, animations, videos, etc...) will be shown on dedicated screens (one per presenter) during the event. In particular, during the poster session, each presenter will be assigned a dedicated space (table with a dedicated screen) to interactively present their own results to the interested people. Presenters shall use their own laptop, which will be connected to a screen in order to display the interactive poster. Place to post physical posters is not foreseen.
In addition, to further promote your work, all poster presenters will be invited to provide a short video (max 2 minutes) presenting highlights from their work. All received videos will be made available to the general public at least one week before the event: this will allow prospective participants to get the "flavour" of the presentation and plan their visit to the poster space.
Please checkt the Φ-week 2019 Youtube playlist for examples from the previous EO Open Science conferences and last year Phi-week. A dedicated playlist will be created also for the ESA Φ-week 2019.
The contents and format of the video are left to the creativity of the presenter: we expect screen records of powerpoint presentations, close-up speeches taken with mobile phones as well as advanced videos, animations and sounds. Standard video formats like .avi, .mov, .wmv, .mp4 ... are expected. Video duration shall not exceed 2 minutes and its size shall not exceed 500 MB.
Each video shall be delivered to phiweek@esa.int via "wetransfer protocol" (www.wetransfer.com) indicating the title and abstract ID by 2 September 2019 , in order to ensure its publication and diffusion by the date of the event.
