Having more than 24 years of experience in the space sector, he has been engaged in the security activity of important projects at national and European level, like those for secure Italian telecommunication satellite (SICRAL), Earth observation constellation (COSMO), navigation system (Galileo e Galileo 2^nd Generation), previously working in aerospace industry and later on in ESA.

Currently he is following the first ESA classified project for the Quantum Key Distribution (SAGA). In this context he is supporting the security activities and the technological aspects related to security. Moreover, he supports the security aspects for the development of EUQCI led by the European Commission in relation to the activities performed by ESA.
