Dr.Jochen Papenbrock

Jorgen Papenbrock heads the Financial Technology EMEA at NVIDIA, the globally leading accelerated computing platform company, leading topics such as Trustworthy, Explainale AI or Sustainable Finance and Environmental Risk. He is a financial data scientist, and he did his degree and doctorate at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). He has spent over 20 years in various roles on AI/ML, data science, risk management and IT in enterprises - especially financial services - as a researcher, data scientist, coder, business/management consultant, entrepreneur, editor, speaker, panelist, thought leader and ecosystem shaper. Projects involved investment and insurance companies, banks, central banks, hedge funds, trade associations and the European Commission. Jorgen Papenborck is also a former executive board member of the EU Horizon 2020 project ‘FIN-TECH’, specialty chief co-editor at Frontiers Journal ‘AI in Finance’, project leader in GAIA-X and member of the core team of the finance and insurance data space. He publishes in leading scientific journals and in industry white paper media.
