Milan

Milan is the capital of Lombardy and the second-most populous city in Italy after Rome.

Thanks to its ancient city centre, Milan is a major destination for tourists worldwide. Some of its main attractions are the “Town House Galleria”, world’s first 7star hotel, “ Il Duomo”, the biggest gothic cathedral, and “La Scala” , one of the leading opera and ballet theatres in the world.

The city is also recognised as the fashion capital of the world and the world's design capital, thanks to several international events and fairs, including Milan Fashion Week and the Milan Furniture Fair. Additionally, it hosted the Universal Exposition (EXPO) in 1906 and 2015.

The city is the fifth-most starred in the world by Michelin Guide.
