Olympia Karadima is the Business Development Manager for Space at the National Physical Laboratory, UK. She is leading the strategy and the management of NPL’s space activities and driving collaborative research and development opportunities across areas such as future communications, space clocks, quantum technologies, and space innovation. Prior to NPL, Olympia has held a senior technical role at Cambridge Consultants, providing expertise in electromagnetics and telecommunications. Olympia worked in the past on a big range of topics and applications from electromagnetics imaging to SQUID-based MRI’s before she found her interest on satellite communications both at the RF and optical range. She holds an MEng in Electrical Engineering, a MSc in Biomedical Engineering and a PhD in Electromagnetics Engineering.
